Location: Point Sturt
Great Crested Grebe (Podiceps cristatus) (2) 2 individuals were feeding in the
lake about 500 metres from shore,moving in a southerly direction. As a local
resident,this is the first time I've recorded this species in the area since
November 2007.Another hopeful sign that the ecosystem is recovering!
White-winged Triller (Lalage tricolor) (1) (Seen 22 August) -A single male
feeding in Allocasurinas along Point Sturt Road,about 1km from the end.
