Good Evening all

I am sitting here recovering from Bush Ticks
which I picked up on my latest travels to Mt Isa laying on the ground trying
to photograph Grasswrens. Over the last 4 years they have become my
favourite species in Australia as they race from one Spinifex bush to the
other or sit up on a rock or dead branch looking at you in places that you
would not think to see a bird. On my last trip I had great views of Dusky,
Kalkadoon and Striated

( race rowleyi ) and they never cease to give me so much pleasure just to
observe them, also I forgot that I had photographed Forty-spotted Pardalote
last April. So here is a link to these birds
