Re: Kelvin Thompson MP, he is actually a very skilled and passionate birder. I 
took him to see the American Golden Plover that showed up in 2006 at the 
Penrice Saltfields in Adelaide. It was a lifer for him (as it was for me a few 
days earlier) and a good morning of birding.
