Hi Denise,Black Swans breed on most wetlands in the Clarence Valley, north coast New South Wales. A small wetland at Coutts Crossing, where I live, has anything up to a dozen pairs nesting. There have been large concentrations at times (up to 10,000 birds) on the Clarence Broadwater, near Maclean. As Ross says they are common on most east coast wetlands.
