Dear Friends,

I am afraid I have to say that I dipped out on the Scarlet-chested Parrot at the site north of Ceduna.  I'll have to try again somewhere else.   There are two ways to get to the Vokes Hill Corner. One is to come up the Anne Beadell Highway from Laverton, The other is to take an unnamed track up from Cook, which joins the Anne Beadell Highway at Vokes Hill.  I am ruling out trying to get there from Coober Pedy. The road seems to be really atrocious from that end.  Can anyone tell me anything about either of these tracks?

Secondly, what are my chances just northeast of Broken Hill in May-June?

Thanks,

John Penhallurick
