Dear Friends, I was also thinking of other possible desitinations if it turns out not to be worthwhile spending 7 days driving to and from Jupiter Well to find the Princess Parrot. One thought was to head up north to Katherine tolook for Gouldian Finch, which I missed there on a round-Australia in 1986. Has anyone seen Gouldian Finch in that area recently. I remember going out to Chinaman's Creek but there was no water in it and no finches showed up (unsurprisingly). Any recent information would be much appreciated. Thanks, John Penhallurick =============================== To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: http://birding-aus.org =============================== |
