Just a couple of things re the area around Thargomindah and Hungerford. The
only place where there is still water over any road is on Currawinya. All
other roads are open and in good condition. Access to part of Currawinya (Lake
Wyara) can be had via Kilcowera Station and all roads are open on the station.
The pelicans can be readily seen from vantage points on Kilcowera. Powerful
binoculars are a must or a telescope. Kilcowera has very comfortable
accommodation or camping available. Cheers Toni Sherwin
