Hi, We were going to leave this a while but it would seem a necessary moment to publish this. After Danny's article about Semi-palmated Sandpipers, and with some assistance from he, we put together an identification guide about the three ringed-type plovers. You can read it here http://bird-o.com/2010/06/16/identification-feature-plovers-with-white-hind-neck-collars/ There are also videos of the three species that may also be of use for ID: http://bird-o.com/2010/06/16/videos-ringed-type-plovers/ Regards, Simon. _________________________________________________________________ http://clk.atdmt.com/UKM/go/195013117/direct/01/ ==============================www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.com To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: ============================= |
