Today (15/6) I located a Pallid Cuckoo in the sand dues near Beacon 19 boat ramp (SE of Goolwa). This is the first time I have seen this species in the Fleurieu Peninsula area which appears to be an early arrival. Also had 31 Pied Oystercatchers, 15 Sooty Oystercatchers and 3 Hooded Plovers along the ocean beach and a Brown Quail that was flushed on the track to the beach. No Neophemas were seen in the Samphire area.
