Just a follow up on my earlier report of a possible Asiatic Dowitcher at Port Macquarie, NSW. I received a number of responses to the post and most agreed that the details that we noted matched AD. However two respondents advised that there are small Bar-tailed Godwits which can have black legs. So unless a further sighting is made its ID will remain a mystery.
