Wader counters report that a Ringed Plover was seen on Clonmel Island in
Corner Inlet east of Wilson's Promontory, Victoria, yesterday at high tide
around noon. The bird was not satisfactorily distinguished from
Semi-palmated Plover. It was on one of the spits but at this stage not aware
whether at the western or eastern end. Access is by boat.
