Explanation for naming of the "Regent"

I was thrilled to read Russ Lambs excellent explanation for the naming of
Regent birds. It works perfectly for the Regent Bowerbird, but what about
the Regent Parrot, whose colours are striking but different?  Do you have
any ideas about that Russ?
