I have a copy of Alex Floyd's Rainforest trees, which lists a lot of animals
which eat the fruit of various trees in it. Hard to look up a bird though -
taking a pot shot at a few common trees, it lists them as eating Ficus
rubiginosa, Ficus obliquua, F. macrophylla, Syzygium (=acmena) smithii for
starters. I know there are lillypillys in fruit at present.
Good luck
Cas

There have been a couple of reports of Superb Fruit-Doves in Sydney
recently. An injured bird has been taken into care via Sydney Wildlife
Rescue and I then saw a Birdline NSW report today of one in Edgecliff in
Sydney's Eastern Suburbs.
I wasn't sure whether there was any relationship between these and contacted
the wildlife carer to check (I am also a carer with Sydney Wildlife Rescue).

The one in care was picked up in Allambie Heights in Sydney's Northern
Beaches close to 2 months ago.The carer is really keen to find out exactly
which berries should be sourced to feed it whilst it recovers.
The info on the net is really unreliable. If any Birding Aus member has any
information on the types of trees they are likely to feed on in NSW, it
would be appreciated.
The carer is also looking for a suitable release site within the Sydney
region and would welcome any information of nearby populations.

Hopefully Birding-Aus's assembled wisdom will assist in this regard.

Regards
Carol.
