Square-tailed Kite - Alice Springs

Hello again,

We had great views of a Square-tailed Kite about 60km west of Alice
Springs earlier in the week - along the Hugh River.
This is not a species we had expected to see in Central Australia -
although there are a few scattered records in the Birdata atlas.

We're wondering if they are seen regularly here, or if this is a vagrant.
Has anyone else seen one in Central Australia in recent years?
