What, like putting a uranium mine in a world heritage area? Short
answer is of course it will damage the environment, I imagine
assessments will be done to guess how badly and whether they think
they can get away with it. Before we throw stones at the New
Zealanders though, look at Curtis Island with all those gas refineries
going in on world heritage area. And yet it's being heralded as a
triumph up here.
Regards, Chris Sent from my iPhone strange that the NZ Government would be allowing a mine to be established,in part, in a national park, at least. =============================== www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.comTo unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: =============================== |
