Hi all, Posting on behalf of Micha Jackson. Has anyone seen Asian Dowitcher at Weipa before? Image can be found at http://www.bird-o.com *At approx. 10.30am on Sunday, March 21 I observed and photographed an Asian Dowitcher in the mangrove area behind the Albatross hotel in Weipa, Cape York. It was associating with a group of Black-Tailed godwits and Great Knots. Preliminary searches of field guides and HANZAB show no records for this area. Has anyone observed or know of any records of Asian Dowitcher in western Cape York or the Gulf of Carpentaria? Many thanks,* * * *Micha Jackson* =============================== www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.com To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: =============================== |
