This morning I flushed a pair of King Quail in wet grassland near Bli Bli, on the Sunshine Coast. There were also plenty of Brown Quail about. At the mouth of the Maroochy River nearby, good numbers of Common and White-winged Terns were still about, many in various stages of breeding plumage.
