Birdline Central & Southern Queensland 

Published sightings for the week ending 28 Feb 2010.

Sun 28 Feb      Grey Plover and Double-banded Plover Manly Wader Roost -
2.6 m tide at 9am 
2 Grey Plovers and 1 early Double-banded Plover. Also 1000s of birds -
the best numbers I've seen here 1000s of Bar-t-Godwits, c10 Black-tailed
Godwits, good numbers of Eastern Curlew and Whimbrel, 100s of RN Stints,
lots of Lesser Sand Plovers (many in summer plumage), c10 greater Sand
Plover (3 in summer plumage), 20 Greenshanks, 30 Terek sands, 100s of
Grey-tailed Tattlers, c20 Turnstone, c100 Great Knot, c30 Sharp-tailed
and c. 80 Curlew Sands, 100s of A. Pied Oystercatchers, 30+ Pacific
Golden Plovers, many Red-capped Plovers, Caspian, Crested, Gull-billed
and 100+ Little Terns.
