Yesterday I attended a pelagic from Southport, one of the best in twenty years. Congratulations to Paul Walbridge and Craig the skipper for having the commitment to run the trip despite the threat of possible strong south-easterlies. At least 5 'Pterodroma' species were seen but also jaegers, tropicbirds and frigatebirds (20 sp all up) I'm sure Paul will put up a trip-report soon until then I've put some pics up on http://www.flickr.com/photos/aviceda/ Tom -- ******************************** Tom Tarrant Kobble Creek, Qld http://kobble.aviceda.org http://picasaweb.google.com.au/aviceda/ ******************************** =============================== www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.com To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: =============================== |
