Hi Tony,

There is a british birder David Bakewell who is based in Penang. He keeps a
very up-to-date and interesting blog of birds recorded/photographed in
Malaysia, particular in Penang and surrounds. This may help you to have an idea
what is happening around the region.

FYI, Dave is the person who discovered the 'White-faced' Plover recently and he
has an extensive network of birders around the region.

His email can be found on the blog also.

Hope this helps.

Regards,
Tun Pin Ong
