Hi Carl
You are so right!! I had the same thought a moment (unfortunately)
AFTER I
sent that message. I am usually aware of such things & I apologise most
sincerely to Geoff for doing something I would be upset about if someone
else did the same with my details.
Thanks for the reminder

Subject: Giving Out Other Peoples Details on BA
Dear All,
I don't think it is a good practice to give other peoples contacts on
B-A just because someone makes a request for it on the list,
particularly if the person requesting is not a regular to the list. I
believe it is a gross breach of a persons privacy and "netiquette" to
do it. The correct thing to do would be to forward the email to the
person being asked about if you think you know them and let them
decide if they want to be in contact with the enquirer.
Some people can get very touchy about this sort of thing and have been
known to exact very interesting retribution.
Cheers,
Carl Clifford
