Hi allI saw the following in the Birdline NSW update today - is there a more fulsome report of what species were seen and where - possibly from the poster of that report or the Hunter Bird Observers? Thanks Tom WilsonFri 12 Feb Pied Oystercatcher Port Stephens 144 Pied Oystercatchers were recorded in a survey of all of Port Stephens; also 876 Bar-tailed Godwits, 376 Eastern Curlew, 271 Whimbrel, 10 other wader species, 20+ other waterbirds; 4,000 birds all up. The survey was by members of Hunter Bird Observers Club in collaboration with the local NPWS and the Port Stephens Marine Park Authority.
