Hi Don,
Marri is pronounced the same was as marry
I'm not so sure about the cockatoo, I tend to say Baw-dins but the person it
was named after was French (Nicolas Baudin) so I suspect the 'proper'
pronunciation is Baw-dans or Beau-dans
