Greg,

I find that Picasa, current version Picasa3.6, is very good for manipulating all kinds of images, particularly nature photos. The graphic industry and some affluent amateur photographers tend to prefer Adobe Photoshop. Picasa will do almost everything Photoshop will do except it can not allow you to, say, create an image of a Penguin in a rainforest. Picasa is available as a free download from Google. It is, unlike Photoshop, intuitive and very easy to use to manage and edit images.

Cheers,

Jim Smart

I know this is not directly involved with birding but. Got a new computer
the other day. Now I do not have a program to play around with images that I
had on the old computer. Previously used "MGI Photo Suite SE" but this is
not now available. Can a benevolent hearted person please suggest a free to
download, easy to use program for manipulating images.

Thanks heaps

Greg Little
