Since the topic has come up here at Birding-aus I thought I would mention to my mates here that before I came to Aus to film parrots. (Blog is here: www.polytelismedia.wordpress.com) I started a forum for scientists and laymen alike to discuss this charasmatic woodpecker. The site is now over 3 years old and gets quite a bit of traffic and is also one of the best places to learn about current developments in the search for the species. You are all welcome to come by and have a look if you like. www.ibwo.net Cheers!
