Yes agree with Chris on this - Shining Flycatchers are a rare occurence in Sth
East Queensland further south than about Noosa and particularly rare in the
Brisbane region. Ive personally never heard of them being reported anywhere
further south. A few years back there were some at Coochin Creek between
Brisbane and Caloundra, but Ive not heard of them there since. A great bird I
was thrilled to see recently on the Daintree. Great that Greg has found some at
