Hi All We had c 200 Fork-tailed Swifts over Kingscote (main town) on Kangaroo Island, SA, recently. Low Heavy cloud and N winds from Australian continent. They were flying low overhead, beating back into the strong N wind after seeming to realise that to be blown further S was not a good option as it was out into the vast Southern Ocean and no-man's land.
