I am requesting information on any sightings of Spotted Quail-thrush and/or Ground Parrot at Wilsons Promontory? A few years ago I heard a Ground Parrot over near the Vereker Fire Break, but I was wondering if anyone has ever seen them around the Cotters Lake area? I have seen th eodd report of Quail-thrush on Birdlines, but I am not sure if there are good areas for them, or if sightings have just been fairly random. I know The Prom reasonably well (except the Northern hiking areas), and visit the park a few times a year. Just looking to extend my list and find some new birding spots, so if you know of some good areas I'd love to hear them! -- Luke =============================== www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.com To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: =============================== |
