All,

I can thoroughly recommend Borneo Rainforest Lodge in Dannum Valley which is
currently undergoing extensive renovations to the main building (reception,
dining room, bar, shop, etc.) and will re-open I think, March 1st. Rooms /
chalets are absolutely first class and the food is sensational.

Best wishes

Alan

Steve,

I am glad I didn't see any Flowerpeckers in Danum when I was there a couple of
years ago. I would be truly on the horns of a dilemma as to whether I had seen
the new species or not. I highly recommend Sabah and if you go, go for as long
as you can, it is brilliant birding. When you go, you should try and time your
trip to coincide with the Borneo Bird Festival, which is held in October at
Sepilok. Great event and a chance to meet local birders and pick up the latest
gen.

Cheers,

Carl Clifford

How exciting!

Sabah just moved up another notch on my list of places to go birding.

Cheers
