Hi Steve,
I haven't been either way for a long time, and you may get more up to date
info. However, both roads are supposed to be suitable for 2WD, with care.
Certainly, the West Coast Road from Arthur River to Zeehan, via Corinna (often
nicknamed "The Road to Nowhere") is generally open to 2 WD. There has been
very little rain in Tassie of late, so any problem would be through dry weather
wear and tear, rather than any wash-aways.
As I say, Others may have more up to date info than I.
Happy birding,
John Tongue
