Dear Friends, Does anyone have access to Crome,Carpenter & Frith,1980,Australian Journal of Zoology,28,pp.135-50. I know that in this paper, they stated that mungi represents an intergrade between Geophaps plumifera ferruginea and Geophaps plumifera plumifera. But what I would like to know is what form they cited the subspeciific names in? Was it Geophaps or did they retain Condon's 1975 use of Petrophassa for the Squatter Pigeon? Many thanks, Dr John Penhallurick 86 Bingley Cres Fraser A.C.T. 2615 Australia email: Phone: Home (612) 62585428 Mobile:0408585426 Please visit my website: http://www.worldbirdinfo.net <http://www.worldbirdinfo.net/> =============================== www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.com To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: =============================== |
