6 White-throated Needletails low over Kurmond, nw of Sydney yesterday afternoon, flying east. The extensive muddy fringes at McGraths Hill which attracted sandpipers to the site up till Xmas Day are now gone after the Xmas rain - only a few stilts present yesterday.
