Hi allI heard lots of cockatoo commotion this morning just after breakfast (8:20am, as I'm now on leave for Christmas) and shot outside to see 5 (or possibly 6) Pacific Baza cruising over my house at treetop height. Several of the birds looked patchy, with white blotches on the back and missing wing feathers, so perhaps mum, dad and the kids out for their first cruise around the neighbourhood? Pizzey says nesting is Oct-Dec, with 2-5 eggs, so possibly an early brood? Great to see CheersTom Wilson =============================== www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.comTo unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: =============================== |
