Greetings,
Please do not ask me for directions to bowers of this species as I only have one active bower to which I can take my guests. I assure you I have looked for publicly accessible bowers in the southern Atherton Tablelands and when I find one I'll let you know. There are adult birds in the Mt Hypipamee/Longlands gap area. Today I handled requests for information from five people from this list, three of them approached me directly. All three of those people asked after the Golden Bowerbird as well as others. 3/5 sent grateful thankyous BUT one sent further questions and ABUSE. I have not answered that email and will not. I have blocked that person's email address so if you wish to apologise, you'll have to write me a letter.

Regards,
Alan Gillanders
