G'day everyone, I'm heading down to the NSW South Coast this weekend for a spot of birding, and I was wondering if I could get a few pointers on places to visit down there. I'll be heading down on the Friday Night, and I only have the Saturday for birding. I'm specifically going down to look for waders. I'm not specifically after seeing any particular species, but birds I've yet to observe are any of the shanks, some sandpipers and some plover species. It looks like I'll probably stay around the Lake Conjola area and work my way back up the coast, with a stop at Wollumboula Lake being the only location I've seen online that looks like a good place to spot waders.
