Having used it as my guide on two trips recently I have noticed the following points in additions to those others have made: Rock Dove appears only as a line drawing on P214 with no text, map etc - all other introduced doves are illustrated Abbot's Booby was clearly an afterthought on P68 - it does not appear on the main colour plate of boobies on P69 at all The following introduced species are not in the index and I can't find them anywhere - as I noted in an earlier email cormorants are in twice so maybe this page was dropped - California Quail, Turkey, Peafowl, Pheasant, Guinea-fowl Since it claims to have ALL Aussie birds in it the last point surely makes them liable to claims for refunds????? =============================== www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.com To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: =============================== |
