today approx 30 Barn swallows were showing well on eastern side of sewerage ponds, with many immatures among them. Also on Woolies oval 20 - 30 pacific golden plover. They are like ballerinas, very delicate in appearance and movement. Running forward, stopping and holding position, leaning over in a bow, holding it, sometimes eating and sometimes doing it all again.
