Hi John,

I'll be away myself, but a) the CBOC have an outing in the Hawkesbury area on the 13th. Might not be on the web yet, but ck b) Sydney pelagics are normally 2nd Saturday of the month - that's the day you arrive I think! Ck out c) About 3 and a half hours to bottom of Capertee Valley. If you do go somehow, have a look at Mt Tomah and Mt Wilson in Blue Mts for possible Gang Gangs. d) Red Whiskered Bulbuls often in inner subs and Centennial Park. A visitor saw them in the Chinese Memorial Gardens in Darling Harbour, Sydney - very apt!!
