They were present in the  Shoalhaven ~150km south of Sydney in the 1930s.
There are also isolated old records for near Goulburn, Jindabyne and
Cape Howe on the NSW/Vic border.

So they are reoccupying their historical range except maybe in the
central Blue Mountains where there apparently aren't historical records.
