Hi All, This is just to ensure nobody missed it in Guy Dutson's earlier email. Yesterday (Oct 15) Guy observed a Eurasian Little Grebe in full breeding plumage at Leanyer Sewage Works in Darwin. This would be the third record for Australia. Given the timing and location it is quite likely the returning bird that was at the same site last year. I've been told that there are Saltwater Croc(s) in the ponds and as a consequence that there may be some access issues with the site at present. Cheers, Rohan -- Rohan Clarke www.wildlifeimages.com.au |
