The following sightings of Princess Parrots by R & D Nicholls were reported to me courtesy of John Nilson.

The Gunbarrel Highway is the Great Central Road on my West Australian Travellers Atlas.

Friends from South Australia ( R & D Nicholls ) were asked to keep a look out for Princess Parrots on a recent 4WD trip from Uluru, NT. along the Gun Barrel Highway Into WA via Carnegie Station, they reported sightings at 4 localities in N.T. & W.A. between Docker River NT. & Warburton, WA. on 23 September 2009.
2 in a tree on a creek bank 60 Kms; ESE of Docker River, NT.
3 flying low near a Creek, along the Heather Highway, 75 Kms; WNW of Warburton Community, WA. 1 near Wanarn Community, Jameson Range, 127.30 east x 25.15 south ( 100 Kms; SW of Giles ) WA.
