Just thought some might like to know I was at the Kedron Brook Wetlands this morning. There were 5 Red-necked Avocets in the drying lake there. On the way back at 8:00am there was a Common Sandpiper roosting on a branch in Shultz's Canal it flushed and landed on a yellow pontoon on the canal between the Nudgee Road bridge and the Gateway Motorway Bridge.
