Hi all...for the interest of Brisbane birders mainly. Yesterday morning there was at least three Baillon's Crakes showing very well just in front of the cemetery at Samsonvale. Looking towards the lake they were just on the left hand side. This is the first time I have seen them at this location. (last year we had Spotless there). By standing very still I was able to get outstanding views with one bird virtually walking to my feet while I got off a couple of shots.
