For the past seven weeks, I have had a male grey shrike-thrush in my Sunshine Coast garden. It sings constantly, presumably in the so far vain hope of attracting a mate, and appears to be peculiarly attached to humans, following them around and showing no fear. The bird even makes itself at home under the front and back verandahs. All very peculiar.
