An interesting article about birding books from bookslut.com (a US book review and literary criticism web site): http://www.bookslut.com/features/2009_08_014933.php I've seen some of the books mentioned on shelves here, but others are new to me. Also mentioned in the article is "Birding Babylon" - a book written by a US serviceman, Jonathan Trouern-Trend, whilst serving in Iraq in 2004-2005. The book is based on excerpts from an online blog that Trouern-Trend wrote during his time in Iraq. The original blog can be found at: http://birdingbabylon.blogspot.com/ Paul Dodd Docklands, Victoria =============================== www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.com To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: =============================== |
