Hi allthere was a Boobook Owl calling from the large gum tree in the little reserve area next to where the buses park just outside Gordon station on the Pacific Highway side, about 6:35pm this evening (Friday 14 Aug). Unfortunately, I was in a hurry so I didn't have time to get the torch from my car to see if I could see the bird. If its calling again next week, I'll hopefully have a bit more time to stop and look.
