This morning I went outside while talking to a birding friend on the phone in time to see two Little Lorikeets fly noisily from one of my trees and circle those down the hill. The Collared Sparrowhawk which had flushed them returned to near where they had left from.

Just a note on the bowerbirds at My Hypipamee; that activity has greatly waned. While there last week for the second time with guests we missed out on the Cassowary but did have a tree-roo hop past. If any one photographs the Cassowary at Mt Hypipamee could they please send me a copy for ID purposes.

Regards,
Alan Gillanders
