Its gets better, the Herald has updated the image caption here: http://www.smh.com.au/environment/conservation/world-rally-leg-threatens-nsw-species-20090806-ebju.html to "Eastern Wattlebird" - one more species on my life list. Although perhaps "Red Bristlebird" would have been better. This is a trivial example, but the practice - and the Herald isn't alone in this - of updating an online article without any sort of editing note is very annoying. Andrew |
