Dear New Zealand birders,

I would like to get up to see Rock Wren near the Homer Tunnel on 3rd
October, but I have to back in Bluff by 4.30 pm to catch the 5pm ferry to
Stewart island.  Can I fly from Dunedin to a location much nearer to Homer
tunnel either late on Friday 2 or as early as possible on Satuday 3rd.  I'll
also need to be able to hire a car to a) get to Homer Tunnel and b) get down
to Bluff.

Thanks for any suggestions.
