Hi Nikolas,

given you're in Leichhardt, have you spotted the blue sparrow that was reported
in April?

I have been following that news both on this group and with someone who
contacted me through my website. That has lead to the discovery of photos of 3
different species of blue birds (little corellas, ibis and the house sparrow).
I have since also received a photo of a blue and brown sulfer-crested cockatoo
(which I haven't published yet). The most likely explanation at present is that
the birds were exposed to a dye - but no suggestions yet as to where. The
corellas were on the central coast; the sparrow in Leichhardt and the ibis in
Chullora.

Anyone interested can read more here at the link below, but I'd love to hear if
anyone else has stories of blue birds (or other unusual colours).

Hi,

At 8:30 this morning two (likely escaped) Cockatiels flew around over
Leichhardt for a few minutes and then disappeared to the South-East.
